Sports Funding

This funding has been provided by The Government, to continue the sporting legacy of The Olympic Games, held in London in 2012.

By utilising this funding, we have been able to provide some exciting opportunities, such as the following:

• Specialist sports coach to deliver high quality coaching in school and at After School Club
• Gymnastics coaching by specialist gym coach at Richard Rose Morton Academy
• Assist with costs of transporting pupils to these and other sporting events
• Achievement of Mini Me Yoga accreditation

These opportunities have enhanced the experiences of our pupils, which would not have otherwise been available to them. The pupils have gained in confidence in addition to benefiting from the extra physical activity.
